As EJB celebrates its 25 ^th Anniversary year, all of us celebrate its good name. It is to our good fortune that we have a reputable scientific journal which was made so by a well established society (the Egyptian society of biochemistry and molecular Biology).

The Society was named, when started 1981 “the Egyptian Society of Biochemistry “it was launched by eminent biochemists from universities.

The journal was firstly published 1983. During the journey of the journal many outstanding scientists offer their efforts and expertise to keep it running. We were seeking to develop a standard of excellence which permits us to deposit it in several international and national repositories now any one can even seek the journal through google linked to AJOL (African journal online) site no person or society or journal stays in the same position. We should be always moving forward and strive for excellence. We must not joperdize our reputation by any means or for any reason. This should be our policy for the next 25 years to come.

We should be all responsible, society, members, editor(s), council members and contributors.

Iam optimistic by nature and a fighter for keeping our position in the international arena of scientific publishing.

Happy 25 ^th anniversary and all of you should be looking for the 50 ^thanniversary.
